Directorate General of Electricity
Directorate General of Electricity is under the authority of and responsible to the Minister. A Director General leads the Directorate General of Electricity.
Duties and Functions
Directorate General of Electricity is responsible for formulating and implementing policies in the field of development, controlling, and supervision for any activities on electricity. In performing those duties, Directorate General of Electricity has the following functions:
- formulating policy in the field of
development, controlling, and supervision for any activities of business,
engineering, occupational safety, and environment on electricity;
- implementing
policy in the field of development, controlling, and supervision for any
activities of business, engineering, occupational safety, environment on electricity;
- formulating
norms, standards, procedures, and criteria in the field of development,
controlling, and supervision for any activities of business, engineering,
occupational safety, environment on electricity;
- providing
technical guidance and supervision in the field of development, controlling,
and supervision for any activities of business, engineering, occupational
safety, environment on electricity;
- giving
evaluation and report in the field of development, controlling, and supervision
for any activities of business, engineering, occupational safety;
- managing the administration of Directorate General of Electricity; and
- performing other functions assigned
by the Minister.
Organizational Structure
Directorate General of Electricity consists of:
- Secretariat of Directorate General of Electricity;
- Directorate of Electricity Program Development;
- Directorate of Electricity Business Development;
- Directorate of Electricity Engineering and Environment.
