TENDER FOR CIPANAS GEOTHERMAL PRELIMINARY SURVEY AND EXPLORATION ASSIGNMENT AREA IN CIANJUR REGENCY, WEST JAVA PROVINCE

The Tender Committee of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has issued a tender notice for the preliminary survey and exploration of the Cipanas Geothermal Preliminary Survey and Exploration Assignment Area (Geothermal WPSPE) in Cianjur Regency, West Java Province. The Geothermal WPSPE on offer is as follows:

1. Name of Geothermal WPSPE: Cipanas

2. Location of Geothermal WPSPE: Cianjur Regency, West Java Province

3. Size of Geothermal WPSPE: 3,180 Hectares

4. Potential: 85 MWe (Reserves)

The Geothermal WPSPE tender conforms with the existing laws and regulations in geothermal business, such as:

1. Only Business Entities with previous experience or which conduct business in geothermal, upstream oil and gas, mineral/coal mining or electricity generation fields can participate in the Cipanas Geothermal WPSPE tender.

2. Business Entities wishing to participate in the Cipanas Geothermal WPSPE tender must register an interest for tender and submit administrative, technical, and financial requirements. The administrative requirements include:

a. A copy of the Articles of Association of the Business Entity and/or a copy of the last amendment to the Articles of Association of the Business Entity approved by the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights;

b. A copy of Taxpayer's Identification Number of the Business Entity, Board of Directors, and Board of Commissioners as well as previous year's tax receipt;

c. Company profile;

d. A statement by the President Director/an executive of the company declaring that the company is neither under court supervision, bankrupt, being terminated nor imposed with criminal sanctions;

3. The Pre-Transaction Agreement (PTA) with PT PLN (Persero) will be executed after the exploration is completed and the Geothermal Permit is issued. The electricity price set out in the PTA complies with the provisions of laws and regulations.

4. The main steps in the Cipanas Geothemal WPSPE tender include submission of registration form, picking up and information sessions on Tender Document, and submission of Proposal Document, as follows:

Dates: from January 28th, 2022 to February 28th, 2022

Time: between 08.00 a.m. and 04.00 p.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB)

Venue: Secretariat of Geothermal PSPE Tender Committee

5. Registration for the Cipanas Geothermal WPSPE tender may be conducted by a representative of the company with a power of attorney from the President Director/an executive of the company.
