Visiting Abu Dhabi, Minister of EMR Expands Cooperation with UAE

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) Arifin Tasrif is on a working visit to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) between Saturday (11/1) and Tuesday (14/1). The working visit, which is ahead of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday (12/1), is to witness the signing of several business cooperation in the energy and mineral resources sector.

The signed cooperation documents will be exchanged at the Presidential Palace of the United Arab Emirates, Qasr Alwatan, witnessed by both heads of states on Sunday, 12 January 2020.

Previously on Saturday (11/1), Minister Arifin met with Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates concurrently CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. The meeting discussed the cooperation plan between PT. Pertamina (Persero) and ADNOC and Mubadala. All documents are currently with ADNOC & Mubadala. If both sides have reached an agreement, the cooperation signing will be conducted on 12 January 2020 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Minister of EMR also witnessed the signing of the Addendum of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Inalum) on the transfer of technologies used to increase production. (IY)
